New Brand!

Hey everyone, decided to rebrand my stuff for the future. Hope you all like. I redid my portfolio and I think it's worth checking out.

Our new look

I thought that it would be really cool, if I made every part of my design umbrella have similar designs. I was looking to make a logo for myself that I could brand my logos, and make a portfolio(which I linked!) So a few days after I made the M logo, I realized how much better I could make Sports Logo Spot, and Stadia Arcadia look, especially if they were the same look.

I knew I could update Stadia easy, I would make a logo of an arena, like the old logo. I did that, loved it, then went to work on this blog's new logo. I settled on a pencil, reworked it to make it perfect, and finished. Then I wanted to make icons for them for the sidebar. I made a facebook one for the page, then I was making my last one, the one to my twitter.

Inkscape crashed.

I had to recreate every stupid logo. So I made these all twice! So that's a back story, I like it, but I'd love to get some reader(s)...(?) reactions.

I haven't forgotten about you guys!

Well, I went to the UK. I had fun, but more importantly, I drew concepts! Still working, but one is an update of an old concept, and one is a bird. Here is a little tease!


Also, feedback on the new stuff? I just grew tired of the orange layout.

Design help

One of the bestest designers in the world, Fraser Davidson, posted some videos about designing logos. He made videos on how to draw animals, people, and letter help. Here are some of the videos. Ill post my designs next.

Sorry, I've been just enjoying summer, and not doing concepts. I'm still working on my inkscape skills, and not amazingly awesome at it. I'm working on some stuff, and once I get them done, I'll post here.

Inkscape

Alright guys, I've been using paint for over a year. I thought it was time to move onto a different program. I have decided to use inkscape. My concepts will be neater from now on.Inkscape is a vector program, which is basically not bitmap.

Here's the concept I made based ont he totorial by fellow board member, gingerbread man.
Then putting my skills I learned into making this 76ers concept. I actually kind of like it.


So that's what you will be seeing from me in the future. I havn't been doing much concepts, since the only vector templates I have are basketball, and hockey. But stay tuned.

Hey

Sorry for no concepts lately. I was out of town this weekend, and this week I have 2 projects, and about 3 tests. I have some sketches for a Cleveland Indians rebrand. I really like my idea, I'm still working out the kinks in my design.

Looks like my next Winter Classic concept will be for Dallas at Minnesota.

Also I want to do an EPL jersey redesign, since I've gotten into the English Premier league recently.
