Great Lakes Premier League

Some real professional logos I can finally release!

Last summer, the Oakland United Football Club got with me to make their logo in an attempt to make the National Pro Soccer League. They were denied, but the determined owners got with a few other denied teams in Michigan, and founded the Great Lakes Premier League. I did Oakland and the GLPL's logos.

Follow both the team and league on twitter!

2030 Winter Olympics - Switzerland

This was the first one I did! I wanted to make it modern, and stupid. Really set the bar for the rest of the teams. I originally had the crest and stripe in the center, but I ent ahead and moved it up to the chest. I really wanted simplicity for the Swiss, and offset it with the black shorts.

2030 Winter Olympics - Sweden

There's almost no way to mess up a Swedish jersey. But somehow Nike managed to do it in 2014. I made sure the sleeves had stripes, and that it didn't look like a rain jacket. The three crowns were given a white outline, like everything blue on yellow. I thought it was slightly different, but still popped. The blue is the same, without the outline, but the yellow one would be used almost every time.

2030 Winter Olympics - South Korea

This is one that carried over from my sim league. I wanted to do something unique in the world of international hockey, and I had a blank slate. I think South korea cold rock black and white, instead of red and blue. Their flag is mostly those colors, and that was the inspiration for me, The stripes are cut on the top and bottom like the slashes on the flag. The slashes all represent something, in groups of . One interpretation is the 4 seasons. The slash representing winter is the one I chose for the stripes. Really simple otherwise, the crest is a national crest with words surrounding it.

2030 Winter Olympics - Slovenia

I really wanted to do Slovenia. The lime green is really unique as far as national team colors are. I loved the mountain design when they made the World Cup in 2010, so I wanted something jagged and angled. The sleeves would make a mountain shape, and so would the socks. The green makes the monochrome navy home not blue heavy. The crest is the agency font they used this past Olympics, and the 3 stars from the coat of arms.

2030 Winter Olympics - Slovakia

Another powerhouse of hockey for the tournament. Slovakia uses the same template as Latvia did. First, I put their crest on a different shape because right now, it has a weird shape. The template allowed for a lot of two colors, the yoke, and the base. I took that to another level, and tried to get the most out of 3. So I made a somewhat traditional hockey uniforms using an unorthodox template.

2030 Witer Olympics - Russia

This may be one of the biggest difference from the current set. I love what Russia's soccer team is doing. Their jersey is maroon and gold. To add some color to the whole Olympics, I carried that over with the classic red of the Russians. I used a modern two-headed bird, put a flag on it, and the name above that. I really went for regal on this concept and do something different.

2030 Winter Olympics - Norway

Norway's is really simple and sleek. Once again, I returned to the first Leafs edge jerseys without a hem. Norway in Norse goes diagonally across the chest, much like last year's Olympic set. The striping is inspired by their flag, which features a cross of blue with a white outline on a red field. Pretty simple, but I personally love how sleek this ended up.

2030 Winter Olympics - Latvia

Latvia has such a unique color scheme, that's the best part of them. This is the first appearance of a jersey cut I made with a big shoulder yoke. I felt like maybe in the future it'll make sense, as nontraditional as it looks. But this one is pretty basic, a crest based on their coat of arms, and a maroon and white jersey that are opposites of each other.

2030 Winter Olympics - Germany

For Germany, I thought they could really stand out with a mix of black and white. I went all black on the home, because that's just their look. Red and yellow would stand out on it. I used a different template to use chevrons on the chest and sleeves. Think of this like a 80s Canucks jersey modernized. The white was chosen because red and yellow would be hard on the eyes. The black borders the jersey, and the chevron colors are rearranged to match the flag. The crest logo is a traditional german bird behind a D for Deutschland.
