Trifecta Competition: Final round

So with my Tide concept, I advanced to the final round of that competition. You had to do logos for a team that's identities are solid. (ie. Packed, Leafs, Yankees) I chose the Red Wings, and this is my result.

I added 2 new colours to the teams pallate... maroon, and gold
I kept the idea of a winged wheel, but updated it. I made new wings, and the wheel is 3d compared to the 2 d one they use now. The secondary is a simple winged D. The tertiary is one that I really like. It's a patch that says Hockey Town with an Octopus. Then the script is a modified Aachen. The jerseys are different from the current ones. I made sort of a pre-edge design. The alternate is based off this past year's Winter Classic jerseys. I put the D logo as the crest as opposed to the Old english D they used.

World Cup Concepts.

So a competition started on the boards,w here you had to design the kits for an international soccer team. Here's my 2 teams so far
I wanted to do something different, and to do with maple leafs. So I made a design, and included maple leafs, and love how it came out.

Bunch of aspects thrown together with this. I included 3 crowns since it's in Sweden's logo.

Comments, plz?

Alaska Goldpanners

4/6 Alaska Goldpanners
Next is the most famous team in the ABL. They host the Midnight sun game, a game started at midnight, because it's bright all summer long. This team has had players like Barry Bonds, Jason Giambi, and Bobby Crosby. Hahahah, look what they said under Bonds's picture. I changed a few things, I made the colours darker for one, and actually made a cap logo. The tertiary is a baseball in a gold pan. I shortened the script to just Panners, so the jersey wouldn't be cluttered. On the jerseys, I put the GP logo on the hat, since now they have a star with the players number in it. I kept the blue alternate that they use now. On their jerseys now, they have a goldpanner under the script, so I replaced it with numbers. I used the Phill's numbers, because they somewhat resembled the script.C&C

Dunedin Scots

This concept was originally for my new minor league blog.

Alright, so I went to a local Florida State League game, the team was the Dunedin Blue Jays. It's the Advanced A ball team for the Toronto Club, and spring training home. Personally I dislike the minor teams having the pro clubs team name. I almost bought a cap, but since it's nothing special(like the Clearwater Threshers set) I didn't. I thought it would be cool if they rebranded with a new team identity. For all of you that don't know, Dunedin is Scots-Gaelic for Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. I chose the name Scots to represent that. I didn't chose highlanders, 'cause that's the middle school's team name.

Alright that was the back story, here's the logos. I chose navy, and green as the colours. I did that because the pictures of tartan kilts are those colours, and the Scottish national teams are blue. The scripts are cursive "Scots", and "Dunedin", with the secondary being a cursive D. The primary is Scots over bagpipes!!!!one!1! The high school's band plays bagpipes, so I thought it would work. The tertiary is an angry Scotsman! It was modeled after the Ottawa Senators zephyr hat logo. The only thing I don't know about is the primary, and the tertiary. Even though they're the coolest.

Jerseys. Nothing out of the ordinary here. I used 2 piping...things? One navy, and one green. I made a blue alternate too.
Here's what they would look like ON THE PLAYERS!!!! XTREME!The X makes it cool.

Alright laddies, and lassies. C&C is welcome. I might make a tartan alternate if you guys would like.

Down on the Farm

Started a new blog with a friend that's all about Minor League Baseball. The header says it all.

EPLJR: Fulham

16/20 Fulham
Kept the white top, black short combo, with a sleeve design. I kept the same design on the away, and alternate kits.Teams left:
-Stoke City

EPLJR: West Ham

15/20: West Ham
Just trying to finish up here. Kept the blue sleeves, It'd be hated if there wasn't. Added some white designs on the jersey, just for pizazz. Made an all white away, without a sleeve colour, just the design.A few left, and most involve stripes, I'll work on this before I get back to the Alaskan Baseball concepts, and my wall sigs.
